I'm not married and I regret every minute after I realized I let "the one" slip out of my hands.

Just like ppl say to me about my failed marriage.....IF it was meant to be......it would.....be glad you did not find out the hard way like I did.......not to say that you would have....but you get my meaning.

Well, I guess I'm in denial because I still have hope. Actually, I did find out the hard way. But at least I got a beautiful daughter out of it.

Thanks for sharing for one thing since it doesn't seem to be something interesting to other people. I am sorry it has been so rough for both of you. I can't say I know both of you but you guys seem to be ok. So any words for me about marrage?

Hey....no biggie man....I just like to poke fun at everything I can.....especially marriage topics. I mean, yeah, I had a bad one, but that does not mean that everyone will. I was young when I got married.....22..>TOO young.

Just make sure that you are not making a mistake. Take a step back and look at the whole thing objectively....I know for me, IF I would have, I prolly would not have gotten married...but that is my story.

I have done taken a step back and looked a few times. I think that is something people should do I would have never done it if it wasn't for a friend I have that said the same thing as you. Thanks

No prob...I just wished my brothers would take my hints to heart better......one is married and one is getting married.....I do not want them to have the same ending as I did.....not pretty, and I do not think they could handle it like I did....they are not that emotionally strong.

I have a friend like your brother and he is now getting divorced after a year and a half of marrage. He doesn't have the emotional stregth and it is hard to watch a friend suffer.

It is tough.....I almost killed someone who was giving me crap about being divorced, and WHY I was getting divorced.....not a good thing to do to me.....I have a VERY short temper....especially during high stress times!

I think a lot of people fit into that category with you. I know I am one of them, when I am stress best to leave me alone.

My only advice is if you know truley in your heart that its for real go for it. Always let that person know how you feel about them. My main problem is that I'm stubborn and like to prove people wrong. My ex-girlfriend kept pressuring me to get married and that's why I never did. I was too caught up in being the tough SOB that I would never let her know how I truley felt and now I'm paying for it. If this is the one, and you'll know, don't let her get away. Life is too short to spend time looking instead of being and enjoying life with that certain somebody.

Thanks. I know this is the one and I am not going to let her go. It is nice ot hear from people who have been through situations on things you should do and look for. It can save big headachs in the end ad well as heartach in some cases.

And on a lighter note, I am married...going on 6 years now. I have 4 wonderful kids (well, they are wonderful when they sleep ) and a wife that is truely the best thing in my life.

We have had some rough times, almost lost it on acouple of occasions, but we are stronger than ever now.

Marriage is hard work but looking at my life now, I can truely say I am Blessed! :P

Show me a man who is publically that happy, and ill show you man who drinks heavily and often.

You truely are blessed......I just wish mine could have lasted as long.....but.....like they say.....if it was meant to be......it would (what a corny saying.... :P).

But you truely are blessed.......and under the influence.....
