Brake light

I know this is a stupid question but how do i change the bulbs on it.. when i try to take what i think is the cover off i feel like i'm going to break something.

which one? the brake/tail lights, or the center light?

sorry.. must be a regional thing. the center light inside the car

I will attempt to get out to my 91 tomorrow (thurs) and investigate.

its not regional at all, just the cars have 3 brake light assy's (center, left, right) and needed to which one to look at
