My name is John and I have a car addiction!

Well, the real problem is that I have a tendency of falling dead smack into too good of a deal to pass up on a very regular basis. Free BWM 6 series? Been there. 10 second Mustang drag car for less than $400.00? That was me. Nice low mileage LSC with bad bags and electrical gremlins for the cost of a reman 2.3L Turbo head? Did I mention I manage a NAPA?

So I need another car like I need an inoperable brain tumor but I have been trying to get this guy off of an XR4Ti for the longest time and dude just will not budge. I give up. He calls me up a few weeks later and asks if I have a head for the XR, I grin "Why?" "Mines cracked." "Give ya $350.00 for the car." "Nope I want to drive it now, The LSC is bumming me out." "Huh? That car is spotless." "Bad airbags, bad compressor, heater controls don't work. Car suxx" So now I start playing down the Linc, being cool but seeing where he was at... "Yeah, that sucks. I can get a reman head for $550.00" (My cost much less) "Yeah, well I'm broke" "Really... "

So I have a car, now I need a plan.

I like autocross, I like drag racing, I like cool cars that cost less than $2000.00. So I think with a VERY aggressive diet which will lose all of the animal skins, power doo hickeys and unneeded accessories like passenger door regulators and inner structures much of the under dash wiring and anything they might have added because they thought I might have been concerned about safety (I am a sick boy). A modified rear suspension setup featuring adjustable Mustang arms and coil overs. An SN95 Mustang front suspension with 1000# front springs and camber plates as well as the quicker GT rack, some 245/45r16 race rubber for the cones and some 225/60r16 Assurance Triple Treds for street duty should do the trick. After that I might just consider power upgrades.

Like I said it is an addiction.
