(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

hey guys, i have a 93 black lsc for sale. it has some body fixes need, no rust that i've noticed, need a tranny (no revers), needs timing chains fixed, some minor interier stuff like a console cover (50bux on ebay) and some wear and tear on the driver seat (150 on car-part.com), high miles but runs like a top when the chains are working. let me know what you guys think, i'm getting some pics this weekend. i'll post them soon. Make me an offer. We'll talk.

They didn't make LSCs in '93.

And when the timing chains break i think its an interference motor so uhh i dont think it will run well when you fix the chains.

oh the sarcasm... can't beat it

I was looking through craigslist and there was a Mark VIII that apparently had the timing chain skip and it bent the pushrods but the valves are okay.

I laughed so hard when I read his listing. I actually emailed him, I said I was interested but didn't know where to get pushrods for an ohc engine.

well..... everything in my car says lsc, including the manual that says both lsc and 93'. it has a lincoln 5 spoke rim that i have searched for and have never seen again. so....from what i've seen and researched, pretty rare, rare enough.

No biggie. All Mark produced from 93-98 are LSCs, that is they are Luxury Sport Coupes! Even my base 96 has LSC on the registration card.

But in 95 the LSC package was introduced. This option included and LSC badge on the trunk, true dual exhaust and a different gear ratio. Also HIDs and proliferated seats where just a few of the goodies. So when someone calls a Mark and LSC they are talking about the option al package. A LOT of people get this messed up cause really Ford messed it up.

So there never was an LSC Mark VIII in 93, just a base model.
