Motor Mount Bolt

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

This should prolly go into the Wanted forum, but does anyone have (or know where to get one) a motor mount bolt? This is the long 1.5mm thread pitch bolt that holds the motor to the Kmember?

Any leads would greatly be appreciated.

they are available from a dealer. it will have to be ordered.

Maxx at five star said they were not available no mo', and he can't find any on the locator.

ill look into it tomorrow.

maybe i can find something close to it that is available. im sure someone on here has a few from parting out cars too.

Any fastener supply place should have that, if not, they can order it for you. I had to do the same thing for my tranny bolts (broke 2).

Wouldn't the motor mount bolts from a modular powered Thunderbird/Cougar be identical?

If so, you could expand your search to include those.

Thanks for the suggestions. I had found a bolt at the local CAT dealer, but I didn't buy it because It said 8 instead of 9.8 on it. Apparently, that is of sufficient grade, so I bought it... well, I didn't really buy it, the guy gave me the bolt, and told me to have a nice day. He must of felt sorry for seeing me drive around in a FORD...
