Zephyr Navigation Question

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: Nick99EXB

Brand new zephyr owner and I love the car except the navigation. Is there any way to disable the safety feature where you can not input into the navigation when the car is moving. I know its for safety of the driver but when I have a passenger its kinda dumb that they cant type either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I also have a Zephyr with navigation. I have not been able to figure that out myself. A believe some one asked this in a thread about a LS. You might try there first. It doesn't really bother me enough to fool with it.
P.S. Does your Zephyr rev up to like 2000 rpm when you first fire it up? Mine does and it hangs at about 1700 for a matter of minutes. Almost as if the idle is stuck. Hot or cold, it does not matter. Let me know!
