mustang 4.6 in a ltc

what mustang engine will work with the ltc for a swap? im looking for more power and figured a mustang engine has a little more power.

why don't you just upgrade the 4.6 you have in your car. I think It will be cheaper. Lincoln TC has the same engine from the Mustang GT, I would guess most of the bolt ons for the GT will also work in the TC.

It's the same engine in the GT's. Get any mustang GT parts and it'll work for it.

i was going to get a engine i can play with on a stand and have ready before my engine lets go.right now i am at 197,000 miles. so i hear 99 and up have the pi heads i figured mabey i could get a 2000 model good used engine open it up and freshen it up and pop it in there .but is the long block the same for say a 2000 model ?
