I have a 2002 Lincoln LS and the other night when I was coming from work i had a blowout (front passenger tire). I was able to gain control of the car and luckily there weren't that many cars being that it was 1 in the morning. I pull over to the side and as im coming to a stop the car just kills. It wouldnt turn back on, windows wouldnt go up, couldnt turn the lights off or anything. I went outside and it turns out that the tire tore up the wiring located above the tire somewhere (alot of wires). I think its the main wiring harness anyone know for sure which it may be. I cant do anything the trunk wont open, alarm no good, keyless entry nothing. It goes from inside the car to the engine bay. Any help will be appreciated prices anything. Thanks for reading. Taking it to the dealership but would like to know from people that arent trying to make more money off me. Thanks.

I had the same type of issue happen to me, the wire harness above the right front wheel got a bit tore up at which point I had a few different errors on the dash and the tranny wouldnt shift properly. A friend mended the wires and taped it up for me, havent had a related problem since.
until the battery caught fire in the trunk and melted some more wires.... now my rear brake lights and wing light stay illuminated constantly.
has anyone replaced a complete wire harness on an LS? I'm thinking I will have the dealer do it if its too complicated as I'm not sure where the fault is at this point....
