It's eerily quiet in here

So, I thought I'd stir things up by posing the question of Medical Marijauna. OK, lets just talk about decriminalizing Marijauna.

Why is it's use a crime? How long has it been a crime? What are the health risks? What are the social risks?

EASY,
A) They haven't found a way to properly tax it/they haven't wasted enough funds on the "war on drugs".
B) I believe marijuana was illegalized in 1937.
C) None have been found, yet.
D) People think marijuana is bad, no thanks to several years of negative propaganda.

I hate to be so; "Because I told you so..." but these are the best answers I can come up with.

It's an evil drug because
A It's not euopean (unlike, say scotch)
B It's not performance inhancing, bad for factory owners
C It's more valuable being a banned substance, trace the money it ends
up in pretty "respctable" pockets
D It stinks
E Like any other drug no one really cares if you do it until, you get in a
car stoned, can't affford it without ripping someone off, can't support
your family and us taxpayers have to, can't take care of your or your
families medical needs and us taxpayers end up footing the bill.
F You can't keep from doing it at work and end up doing stupid things
that others have to fix, or if you happen to work in, say a refinery
do something that can kill someone a half mile away
