I know this may seem early but last year the motels in Boscobel were full by February.

I'll be blocking rooms at the River Inn (608-375-8000) for LvC, other Boscobel motel is the Sands Motel 608-375-4167
So book your rooms early. (and remember Boscobel is a city of only 3,000 people so we don't have many motels. Next closest is about 10 miles away at the Fennimore Hills 608-822-3281)

Once again my back yard is free for those wanting to save some money and camp out.

Those wanting to arrive earlier are welcome, same with those wanting to stay longer (as long as it's not permanent LOL).

More information and discussion to follow.

Also - Let's see who can beat Dereck for distance traveled!!

I don't know Dave, I don't think you can handle one of them.

Posted by: mespock

It's not so much as to how many burgers you can handle it's what you shouldn't handle after eating a burger.. LOL... Right Chichen and Torque. Maybe this is why you guys talk so much about playing catch.. LOL...

Sweet holy mother of god, I had to drink a half gallon of milk in 20 minutes to keep from crying like a sissy girl. The first minute was the worst, I thought about getting my last rites read to me.

One drop will have you crying for momma. This sauce is hotter than the pits of Hell.

BigCat (1-15-2006)
Be forewarned - this is a serious sauce for only the craziest. I unwittingly tried some on a pork roast and I honestly couldn't breath for the first 10 seconds. I won't touch this stuff straight up without diluting it.

ryan (1-12-2006)
so dam hot you want to kill yourself, this sauce will make you tear and turn red. I recomend this sauce only as a torture device.

Rowan Nicholas (5-21-2006)
Singed my nose hairs. Hot Sauce World Rocks!

BigDaddyPepperHead (4-11-2006)
Only the hardest of the hardcore pepper heads need apply! Imagine a nuclear fireball in your mouth and you are only close to approximating the heat. This is the MAC DADDY of hot sauces!

i had this at Firehouse Subs today... hottest stuff EVER. you gotta try it.

Dan (5-4-2006)
This sauce is much hotter than the 357,000 units leads you to beleive. A great flavour enhance, I love it on a burger.

Corey (5-8-2006)
So hot it will make you slap your mother in-law

kamezzle13 (5-26-2006)

Found it a Fire House, That I was the , then soon after found out that my balls are not made of Titanium. This is the Hottest thing I have ever found. And I am buying this a X-mas gifts. HeHe.

WD (6-12-2006)
Exceptional heat with a surprisingly pleasing taste. It caused my face to turn bright red and my eyes watered, and that was from about a 1 ml taste.

phil (3-27-2006)
I am asian and grew up on hot foods... no korean dish compares to this sauce... I accidently dropped 2 drops in my noodles. 3 bites later, water blurred my vision, sweat streaming down my face, numbness is streaming through my mouth into my face and leaving behind the quickest acting heartburn in my life.

Nate (2-7-2006)
Try mixing a drop or 2 with 1/2 bottle of A1 or your favorite BBQ Sauce. Really kicks things up nicely. Have your friends try it straight up on their finger or a toothpick, lots of laughs but be carefull...too much will kill you

phoenix (6-27-2006)
it's impossibly hot, but it has the best taste of any hot sauce i've ever used.... it's truly an amazing thing, mad dog is.

Will (6-28-2006)
Don't cook with it either...just keeps getting hotter. Like to take hits of it straight up every once in a while. Takes a LONG time to get over this one!

RedBone (7-5-2006)
Tried some on a cheesteak at the Triton Tavern, just outside O.C. NJ.., I asked for some hotsauce, the lady-tender put down a basket full of different hot-sauces.., didn't I grab the hottest one in the basket!! I figured there wasn't much used out of this 357 bottle, so I tried it.., it doesn't smell that hot.., BUT IT SURE DOES TASTE THAT HOT!!Its good for people who love to test their scoville buds of tollerance. It really felt like smoke was coming out of my ears and you could pop pop-corn on the top of my head! It was worth the experience!

Dude (7-12-2006)
Hottest crap I ever ate. No taste,,,just hot. I will not eat this again. Should be banned.

Adrian (7-13-2006)
I was truly disappointed that this sauce wasn't any hotter. But, then again, I like to slide back and forth on razor blades with my rectum.

Mick from Locust Grove (7-14-2006)
WTF was that!!! I think I just ate an asteroid!! I farted and the chair under me melted!!!

This meet is going to be fun.. Dereck I am so pleased that you have accepted the invite and are going to come.

Torque don't scare everyone!!!! LOL .... I love the guy who drank a shot glass full. What an idiot... I can just imagine watching that guy do it.. Mr. Testosterone.... Nothing too hot for me... My best is 5 drops in a bowl of chili, and I could not finish the bowl of chili... If cheese is used on the burgers it does help endure the challenge. Sorry I forgot the cheese last summer... (Da... guy from Wisconsin forgets the cheese).

Posted by: Ohiorudeboy

Hey Rich I'm there also I'd like to camp is that ok?? Even in a back yard is cool with me.

Posted by: mespock

Camping in the back yard is fine... I have plenty of space for camping...

Was talking with some of the people who are involved with setting up the Beach Party. Those who are in charge are dragging there feet.

What I do know is that the Car Cruise is a definite go... Also, if the Music in the park doesn't fly this year we are working on getting music set up on Main street where we plan on getting all or part of Main street closed for the car and Drag Racing...

I also talked to the guy who is in charge of the Gran Prix race and that is a definite go...

I need to remember to talk to the River Inn about blocking some rooms..

I'll try to get on that tomorrow.

Posted by: torquemonkey

Yeeessss!! Another Buckeye to run the streets!!

Rich's backyard is the best!! Elbow room and then some.

Hey Rich, is there a possibility of getting Debi her own "shower" next to her "room?" Heehe,hehee...

Hey.....Where my car..... I guess we'll have to put you on the monitoring of Debi's car again.....

Posted by: mespock

I talked to the River Inn and there should be 10 rooms booked for the Beach Party. Room are booked until June 1. I'll be talking to them soon to work out better detail for prices.

I'm also going to book some rooms at Fennimore Hills (where Torquemonkey stayed last year)

Fennimore Hills Motel - 608-822-3281

Remember Boscobel is small and if you want a motel room you have to book early. All it takes is one or two weddings and the motels in the are get packed.

other motels in the area
Sands Motel it's nice but it's a mom and pop kind of place.

Other Lodging is the Laughing Llama Farm

Whatever you do don't book at the Huble Motel. You'll be sorry! LOL...

Will do... I'll let you know.

Posted by: mespock

No Credit Cards will be charged until the date of service.

OK here's the deal on the River Inn Motel in Boscobel Wisconsin. (608-375-8000)

I have 10 rooms blocked and will be blocked until June 20th.

There are 2 weddings booked also so 10 rooms is all they will allow me to block.

Prices are:

$71 per night for 2 queen beds and 2 adults.

$81 per night for 1 King bed for 2 adults.

$116 per night for a Suite with 2 adults

$5.00 extra per person in any room

Prices do not include Tax

If you are planning on coming book your room early. There is also the Sands Motel it's nice but it's a mom and pop kind of place (1-888-833-4167)

I will be contacting the Fennimore Hills Motel - (608-822-3281) shortly and get some rooms booked there and see what kind of deal I can cut with them.

As with last year my back yard is available for Camping. I have a very good sized back yard and there is plenty of room for many tents.

Don't tell me just call and book the room.. They will not charge your credit card until the time of service.

Just a update:

My goal is to see if we could break 100 member mark at a meet. Also I'd love to see some of those LS owners come and show off their sweet LS...

Currently it looks as if we will be getting Main Street Close for the Meet and Car will Line Main Street for the Car Show.

If you would like to attend please book your rooms early... rooms will book fast do to 2 weddings the weekend of the Beach Party. Credit Cards will not be charged until the date of the meet. So don't worry about that issue. If you decide you can not make the meet there is no penalty fees from the motels or hotels in the area.

If you want to camp the City has offered the Large City park for members to camp, or you are welcome to camp in my back yard. Plenty of space for members.

As of right now There are 30 member telling me that they plan to come to the Beach Party...

Posted by: unity

I cant wait I am glad this is planned far ahead, I have lots to do! Over 100 would be great, but since I have never been to a Mark meet, more than five at once would be impressive to me Rich, if you know anyone heading down from my area, like the Fox Valley, I could caravan with them. Even if they are coming up over the UP I could meet up with them and head down.

Posted by: mespock

I've got bad news... I know of 7 active WI members. 2 in the Milwaukee area (MonsterMark, and 02LSE.....) 1 in Kenosha (Ricksquickviii), 1 in Euclaire Pred8tor, Yourself and me... I don't know of any other active members from WI, although there was one LS owner in Appleton.

I'm hoping to draw in more than Mark VIII owners but we happen to be the major meet attenders... (There is always Conti95 and Pepperman to be the support for Conti's and TC's) Oh Jason doesn't count as he's got too many cars LOL... LS, Mark VIII, Mark VII, Town Car, and a host of others...

Your ride from Green Bay is a nice cruise.. Fastest I believe would be down 41 to 151 then 19 to 60. You have All Winter, All Spring and half the Summer to plan LOL...

There will be one Mark VIII in Two Rivers on the 25 of Dec. and should make its way to Green Bay sometime on the 26th.

Posted by: Jibit

maybe I should bring a Mark VII? But I really wanted to race the VIII!

Posted by: unity

LOL.... Well there will be another Mark in Manitowoc the 25th and then back to work in Green Bay on the 26th lol

Well.. Well have to drive by each other... LOL...

I'll be driving up by about 11 AM.... I'll be in Manitowoc that evening....

My 93's original owner is from Manitowoc.

Posted by: unity

Well I will be driving all around visiting friends and family. Just keep and eye out for a 96 Opal with black hood I dont think I posted here, maybe I did - think it was the other forum, but I had a hit and run and had to get an all new front end. Not happy All I could find was a black hood for now. I just hate the fact that when I keep flying up behind people they slow down!

Posted by: truckerlincoln

Rich, you totally forgot to include me in the non-mark viii category attending Boscobel next year!

Posted by: torquemonkey

True, you are in the "PUCCI" class.

Posted by: mespock

No, you have a Mark VI... which is still a Mark LOL...

But it will be nice seeing a nice classic like you 81.

07 TC... If Nyssa comes then we'll have her TC, and if Jason has his wife drive his TC.. TC's would take over as th 2nd most LvC members vehicles at the meet. Oh maybe Pepps would drive his TC... Debi could pick him up on the way... OK is on the way to WI from OH.... Right Debi...

Posted by: mespock

It's a go-cart.... that's all it is...

LOL...

OK... It's 2007 which puts us in the same year as the July Beach Party...

Time to get the surfboards out and think about the warm sun cool waves, hot rods and cruising the streets looking to pick up hot women..

I have a new Brain Fart for another Activity but in order to participate you need to get here sooner... or we could do it on Sunday after Brakefast...

How about and old 60's style cruise in a bit larger City... do the malt shop thing and spend the night going up and down the strip.

It's a possible Prairie Du Chien thing that we could do. The Boscobel Main Street isn't big enough. Prairie whas a buch of drivin style places and a 2 really good streets to cruise... Would be fun. Oh but Brent has to play the roll of Richie Cunningham.

So if anyone want to do a Thursday Night Cruise night for the Beach Party. Arrive a day early mid day or so take the 30 min drive to Prairie and have some fun. There's a great park along the Mississippi River where I love to was my car. I'll go get some pics and post this possible activity.

Posted by: unity

LOL... I can just imagine 50 Marks doing a u-turns the Wal-Mart parking lot.....

Posted by: mespock

Hey, Prairie Du Chien has is a great place to cruise. Their is about a 3 mile long 4 lane strip with hamburger joints, gas stations, and others places. Starts at a Wal-Mart and ends at a Cabela's.

Then there is Main street that is about 1 mile long that goes down to a great park that where we could line the Mississippi with the cars. Right across is a Burger, Ice Cream and Beer joint. We could have a blast...and I'm sure as long as we don't do too much. Prairie has some great places to do the malt shop thing. Across the river (5 miles) is a casino boat..

I'm just adding more activity for the time. This would be a Thrusday even for anyone who really wants to make this a fun event.

Prairie Du Chien is only 30 miles from Boscobel an Hwy 60 and very beautiful drive and only take 30 min. to get there. No traffic City folk.

Posted by: unity

And if you LOVE sport driving, back roads baby!!!! I love driving down around there!! PD is a great place to cruise the strip, 4 lanes too! This is gonna be fun. I'll have to stop by my favorite place for dinner, the Twisted Chicken in McGregor (across the river). I better go install those sway bars now.....

Hwy 60 from Boscobel to Prairie is just a great ride. Nice curves great scenery. I love washing my car at the Quick Lube and then go down to the river to detail. Prairie has been working real hard to improve it's down town and parks. For those who can make this it will be a great time.

If it's only 2 to 5 of us who can make this part of the meet it will be worth it.

I have bad news Pepps, I'm probably not going to be making a Thrusday run to Chicago for a pick up. We'll have to find some other LvC members who are coming to bring pick you up at the Airport.

So if anyone want to do a Thursday Night Cruise night for the Beach Party. Arrive a day early mid day or so take the 30 min drive to Prairie and have some fun. There's a great park along the Mississippi River where I love to was my car. I'll go get some pics and post this possible activity.

Sounds good to me Rich.

Posted by: mespock

I'm just trying to put in another inexpensive fun activity that we can do and play with our cars.

And I hope everyone understands that this nobody is obligated to do all the events. I know some can't get out of work for the length of time. But some members have asked me if we could find more to do as they really like the area. Well to do more we need more days so I'm putting in the Thursday activity. Everything else is still scheduled as is. Friday greet and meet at my house on the porch. With activities to follow.

Saturdays as listed. Any who stays longer on Sunday we could even do more. I have more ideas.

I am prepared for a full week of things if anyone wants to come on Monday and go through Sunday. All are welcome.

I have plenty of room for camping in my back yard to help save on the cost of this meet.

That's right Dereck.... Debi may turn east out of Columbus and get to Wisconsin through California... We try to find someone to ride with her so she gets to the right state. You might have to watch to see if she passes you while on the way.

Are we gonna have any workshops? I know I continually bother you Hotties with crazy questions and need all kinds of answers for other issues also, Mostly cause I'm not to scared to ask, but what is the best about LVC is no one is reluctant to give instruction, directions, a hand, two cents or at least some good old common sense advice. .

SMOOCHES and looking forward to seeing you all soon!!!

I should have a mark VIII engine swap done in my t-bird by that time if not I'll ask my brother if we can take both his mark VIIIs.He's got a black supercharged 98 LSC and white 98 LSC CE.

Posted by: mespock

It's possible to get do a mod day but mostly when would be the question. Depends on who long we stretch this thing out. I do have places were we could work on our cars. One place I'm working on has a lift. But this would be another day of activity.

It would all depend upon interest. Like I said I have nothing against having this last a full week. Everyone welcome to come for the events or duration that they would be able to make, whether it be 7 days or only 1 day. I have no problems filling each day with something to do.

It would be sweet to see that SC - Mark VIII that's been posting those great numbers... and been the start in the videos.

Everyone needs to remember that if they need motel rooms they have to call early. The weekends book up very fast around here. I'll be calling the Fennimore Hills soon to make sure they save at least 10 rooms there.

I want to make this meet fun. There are plenty of things to do for wifes. This area is full of hobby shops and antiques, plus just a little to the north is a huge Amish community with plenty of Amish crafts. There are things for the kids to do also. This doesn't have to be just a gear head meet. I'm sure Jason's wife would love to spend a lot of Jason's mods cash on some good antiques.

There are also some great family places for camping like Jellystone, Wyalusing State Park, Governor Dodge State Park, Black Hawk Lake, Eagle Cave, Laughing Lama Farm, plus my back yard which is free... We also have some nice Bed and Breakfast places in the area.

Do a little Internet research then just let me know where you would like to stay and I'll make arrangements.

Carlsile will be a great time for all but I will make sure that you will have so much fun hear at the Beach Party that you'll forget about Carlsile.

Last year we had 20 members make this a great event. Like any first time event they start out small. My goal this year is for 100 LvC members. In I hope at least 1 person with an LS... I'm calling you LS members out... I bet we have more Mark VIII's in attendance that LS's. I bet I'll personally have more Mark VIII's in attendance that LS's.

That's great Chicken... looking forward to the meet. We will have a blast on Thursday night and see if you can get any tickets in Prairie Du Chein. LOL

Here's another thought for some of you. This would require an early arrival either Wednesday or very early Thursday.

If members wants a custom exhausts done. I have a guy that if you bring your muffler/s. He will custom bend your pipes. Put in the x pipes etc. Also He'd be willing to do it buy cutting off the cats. I'd have to know this early as to make the appointment. I'm not sure how many he could do in one day but we could get a few done if anyone is interested. All you would need are the mufflers and the x pipes. He's done a lot of mufflers and if there are interest I'll get this set up.

Don't forget the goal from last year. Those who came last year were make sure they bring someone new to this year's Beach Party. This doesn't have to be an LvC member and they don't have to have a Lincoln or a Cadillac.

Brent's goal is to bring Marked8 with him....

Well you better start practicing. Get some Dave's Insanity Sauce.. it's a good starter for the feeble.

Depending upon things maybe I can wip up a nice batch of chicken wings... LOL...

Posted by: truckerlincoln

Rich, I am definitely going to the meet but would like to have a little cruise of my own from Des Moines to Boscobel. If there is anyone attending the meet and going thru Iowa, from KC for example, PM me and I'll get something set up. It would be cool to see Lincoln's cruisin down the interstate for 4 1/2 hours!!

Posted by: mespock

I PMed you a list Trucker... see if you can spark an IA interest...

Posted by: 94m5

Aight, We'll have to see.

If everything goes the way I want, I'll have 2 weeks of vacation time soon, and will be able to say for sure.

Mike

Posted by: mespock

Mike, this meet is going to be too much fun to miss this year. I guess if you can't make it JD will have to bring the 95 in for some Mods... I'm sure you'll like what I take off the 95 for you... LOL

Posted by: mespock

the list is looking very good so far but I don't see any one new listed as a recruiter from anyone.

Unity doesn't count... he's almost like a regular with all his post and enthusiasm.

And I've talked to Calabrio and Lincolngirl91, and Dereck on his own. So I should see one from Pepperman, One From Brent, One from Torque, MonsterMark doesn't count as he'll claim everyone due to the fact he's and admin.

We need to see JD, FreeFaller, 02LSC....etc..., Jibit, or and don't forget Joey.

I'm still waiting for 95Pred8er, and 9_8_L_S_C, and Truckernlincoln...

Posted by: chickenviii

im gonna try to get midwestbird to come up

Posted by: mespock

Not that's how I like the list to look... interested members getting excited about a great meet.

I sure hope some of you can make it here for the Thursday's raid of PDC..

Good point.

Winter is finally here. Can you tell which is the favorite.

Posted by: mespock

The one all snug and warm... the one that you want to treat you nice after it treated you bad... LOL...

You know it's not all the salt and crap on the out side that I wash off enough it's the crap you get on the inside that pisses me off more, because you can't get a nice area to clean out the crap. Unless you have a nice warm garage with plenty of space. I'm not that fortunate.

Posted by: unity

Ya. These cars are galvanized and pre-primed via "dip & roll" so they can take the crap. Its the carpet that takes the salt abuse. I have two sets of mats, a winter set and a summer set. The winter set being the originals that were already worn, the summer set being new ones.

But I too wish I had a place to work on the car in winter, a heated garage would be nice. My Mark needs a good clay-bar and wax - needs it REALLY bad

I have some nice heavy duty truck mats for winter.. Something that keeps the water off the carpet until it either dries out I get to dump it out.

Bah! Label it a "pre-" Honeymoon and let the chips fall where they may. Perhaps you can romanticize the trip up a bit with bringing along your guitar and serenade her around the campfire.

Beach Party Update:

Had a meeting with our local Lion's club. Looks like the Lion's will be handling the Saturday night Drag races.

They are going to turn it into a 50/50 fundraiser. The person with the fastest run will get 50% of the pot. Money will be donated to help with the building of our new Emergency Room.. I'm guessing that Debi will just have to deal with the old one this year. LOL..

They haven't set up the fee per run but I'm guessing it will be like $1.00 per run. Everyone is welcome to race.

Race Details will be discussed on Friday night of the Beach Party. Get your Motors Running..

Just ordered New XpansionX II exhaust and some Cobrastar emblems, hopefully will have an Icebox (powdercoated red, of course) by the meet. Can't wait to see what has been done to everyone else's cars!

I don't think my bride will accompany me, but my father in law just might.

I,ve been practicing with some crazy hot sauce, so I'm ready for the burgers!! FYI practice doesn't prepare certain parts of the anatomy, be very careful

Of Course..

Update on the Beach Party. We are trying to make this a city wide event getting more businesses involved. Met last night with the committee and while having a Spotted Cow (Yes a Wisconsin Beer) at the bar. Guys from one of our local dealer ships offered to have a car give away.
They offered to have a hole in one contest to give away a new car.

We are still working on the detail and where we are going to have it but it's something added to the goings on for the weekend.
Still working on the bands.

We might have music in two locations. Have been playing with the idea of having a battle of the bands for area teen groups. There has even been talk about a wet t-shirt contest LOL... (This is to get Pepperman excited).

I suppose he'd want to be the judge. LOL...
Another meeting next week as we try to get more area businesses to the meeting. So put your penny's away and plan for a great weekend.
