some of you may have seen it in the wheel pics thread, but these are the newest pics of my car wtih the Lowenhart BR5's on it. Starting today ona fiberglassing the trunk with subs and amps, and possibly doing a monitor for the hell of it, but havent decided... The box will be custom painted to match the exterior, expect pics in about a month...

those wheels and the tint fit your car perfectly!

Posted by: BanginLS

look real clean.. have u thought about doing anything about the ride height?

have fun with the trunk.. i know u get craz!

Posted by: KevinACrider

Nice choice on the wheels. I have similar rims in Gunmetal on my show car. The car kind of has a Subaru stance though, now. Perhaps a 1 or 1.5 inch drop would be pure sex.

Posted by: buddyleee5

i'm not gonna do anything to the ride height becaseu i scrape on speed bumps and drive ways already, i dont want to hit more then i do now... i think the height is fine its not that big or a deal to me, i would rather do some other things first, i have an lse grille going on soon i hope and i have chrome b pillars but i am undecided about them

FINALLY lol. Those look realy good man, I wouldnt mind putting some of those on mine.

We are going to have to hit some shows next year.

definatly, I've been dying to see your car in person for a while now... I still have alot to go to get to what your car looks like though... looking great

Posted by: lseguy

Looks good, but I'd re-assess the ride height. Eliminating some of that unsightly wheel well gap would enhance the overall looks by 40%.

what would i need to lower it? just get the eibach spring kit? How is the ride quality effected?

there are many brands of springs out there, but if you are rubbing stock, dont even think about lowering. Unless you put rubber blocks between each spring to stiffen up like I have. Ride quality is still pretty good.

Posted by: buddyleee5

no im not rubbing at all, when i said scraping i meant that the bottom of the car scrapes on the pavement... how much do these kits cost? and hwere could i find them?

you have 19's though don't you? The roads here in Rhode Island are pretty bad which make me think twice about lowering it...

Posted by: 02V8Sport

yes I do have 19's Im dropped 1.75 and its ok.

Posted by: HyeLifeLS

looks tight as hell, I am lovin' that color.

i agree... its coming, i dont think i cant afford $5000 for brakes, but upgraded brakes with biger calipers and rotors are coming...

Posted by: steagle

its not my favorite color for the LS, but its original and the tint looks great. nice and clean.

Posted by: mcafferty

very nice looking LS

Posted by: lseguy

Rhode Island? In that case, scratch what I said about lowering it. It would definitely LOOk more aggressive, and much cleaner without that wheel well gap, but the tradeoff IS less suspension travel, which will equal a harsher ride. How MUCH harsher is difficult to guage from person to person. What's really harsh to me, might be acceptable to you.

In closing, based upon your comments and your geograhical region? I'd leave the stock suspension alone.

looks good man.. i like it. different.
