This code pulled up when I was checking DTC on the xcal2. What code is the P1519, and how do you guys find what each code is?

You could try a treatment or two of SeaFoam and see if the carbon/gunk build up can be cleaned off, freeing up the operation. It would be unlikely that the motor that controls the IMRCs openeing and closing to be burned out. IMRCs open and close @3k RPM to let in more air. Lots of good treads on LvC discuss the operation in great detail.

I think you can unstick it manually by getting a hand on it. They are controlled at the back of the intake. Can't say if it will do it again.

I had my IMRC cleaned already (by hand) But before I used to get the Check engine light and now I don't. I guess I will give a seafoam a try again. which way would be the best way to get the IMRC clean by seafoam. I heard that rev yur car to 3,200 RPM and then suck it through.

Did you clear the code memory? Maybe its not doing that anymore but the code is lingering. Just a thought.

You would think it would bring a light, thats why I mentioned maybe it was old. I'm pretty sure codes stay in the memory for a while so they can be checked, if not cleared. If the problem happened again it would bring a light, if it doesn't happen again, its just in there from the past.

Performence wise it will have some lack of power, but not to the point that it would be pathetic.

so i cleared the code and it came back on. Well at least its not activiting the CE light. I guess I will be ok with this problem, Its not realy a big deal.

my guess is that if it is stuck clodsed,you are giving up a fair amount of power over 3200 rpms

you should be able to reach the cables that open the IMRC's with your hand, all the way in the back, between the back of the intake manifold and the firewall, check the cables going to them and move them to open the IMRC's, and yeah try seafoam, that seems to be the usual solution to them getting stuck.

i am almost positive that i read somewhere xcal2 can read dtc's on any 1996 and newer ford product.just cant program them,plug it in and try.

so from this, looks like my IMRC are open but i know that they are not working. I got my IMRC cleaned at 68,000 miles and now it has 79,000 miles. So I know that my IMRCs aren't clogged with carbon, so that would mean that the motor that closes and opens it is not working, Right? so how much is it to replace that motor?
And another think, what is the intake manifold? Is it the air intake tube? can you take some pictures of the cable that I am suppose to pull

Your IMRCs very well may be stick due to carbon buildup again.
