Tire vibe or something else?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I brought my car into the dealership to get my tire rebalanced. Now when get to 55-60 the steering wheel shakes in a sideways motion which would indicate a tire vibe. If i speed up and get on the express-way about 75 up the car shakes like the whole car.... is this still a tire vibe?

was it doing it before you braught it to the dealer?.
if not it's most likely a tire balance issue

Make sure the lugs aren't loose.

Sometimes just taking the wheel off and reinstalling with a slap on rotor car will cause vibes. When the rotor moves when loosening the tire, rust gets lodged in there and so when retightened, still get a vibe.

You know i'm not sure.... thats why i'm posting. I bought the car and 1 week later i brought it into the dealership for the tires. I dont believe it did it....

make sure you got enough tire pressure on all 4 tires. if you do. i would have the tires rotated. and if it still doing the samething. then ball joints or the tie rods bushings are worn. good luck!

usually a tire ballance issue. but sometimes it can mean worn front end parts too.
