Would anyone recommend removing the air silencer? If so is it hard to do and how long will it take?

Most of us have removed the air silencer. It's an easy job...

Here's a tech article on it click here

HIGHLY reccommended
i removed mine the 1st weekend i owned the car.
takes about 45 minutes including jacking car, taking tire off, inner fender liner, etc...

i also drilled out the air-box while i was at it.
takes about 15 more minutes.

good idea to do while you have the pass. tire off and everything else, is to change out the fuel filter.
you will notice a better sound above 3k RPM

Don't expect it to do anything performance wise. It does sound nicer though.
