I know it may sound early but

2006 LvC Christmas Party

Start posting input.

Last 2 years we had it in the Chicago area at
John's Pizzeria in Addision, IL

Had a Secret Santa Exchange and a lot of fun

Many of us went to the

i think torque should drive up and remember a midwest winter!!!!! lol

Posted by: mespock

Dates will be coming either the 1st or 2nd weekend in December.

Posted by: Conti94

Where to go? where to go? I just don't know. We could just have it at the usual place. Pizza and Karaoke? I think it was a good success last year.

Posted by: mespock

I'm thinking December 2nd or 9th...

Which Date works best for everyone.

Posted by: Conti94

To early to tell I have to get back to you on that.

Posted by: pepperman

Same story as last year, I have to sell the Conti to have the money. Rich it is the 2008 LVC Christmas Party, not 2007.

Posted by: chickenviii

The 9th The 9th The 9th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by: clintjw95

Too bad the majority of LvC members are on the East coast. Maybe you guys should hold it on the west coast this time around.

Well it is a Midwest meet maybe that's why it's set up in the Chicago Area... we don't turn anyone away... even if they are from the east coast..

I know it got to be tough making these Midwest meets.. and Brent it's always great to see you.

I'm hoping that after my last 2 kids are out on their own more next year that I'll have more free time to make it out east to a meet.

I've thought about your efforts to come to the Midwest often Brent and your efforts are really appreicated.

Right now I'm leaning towards the 9th of December.

Posted by: chickenviii

yeah!!!!!!!!! the 9th i cant make the 2nd

Posted by: mespock

I think the 9th would be a good date also, so let's go with the 9th.

What we need are some Ideas for Saturday afternoon...

The morning will be taken up with drinking coffee and eating breakfast at the usual spot..

Kopper's Kitchen

Last year we went to the Volo Auto Museum. We didn't finish it and there are so many great cars to see. So that's still an option. Plus only Debi, Brent, MarkofDeath, and I went. I know I wouldn't mind seeing the cars I missed.

So if any other Chi area people have an idea Like ride the L all day long LOL.. post some suggestions.

Hey the spell check option is block so I can't down load it...

Spelling what a waste of time... that's what spell checkers are for LOL....

At school I usually post quickly so I sometimes don't proof what I've written. Just pop it out.

Then again we are Car Heads not Librarians on LvC... Who cars... LOL..

I hope you and the Ms Chicken can make it for the weekend.. It's been a blast that last few Christmas Parties.

Posted by: pepperman

I didn't even point out your spelling this time.

Rich, i'm almost sure i can make it to the christmas party. Depends on how busy work is and the weather. Might even drive up the 81 Mark VI Pucci!! Drove it today and rides like a dream! Still debating to buy it or not.

That's great... It's a blast... Just like any LvC meet... we just have fun...

Hope everything works out so you can make it.

I'll be posting more information on what we will be doing later.

Also as we get closer you can make arrangements with other coming to find someone to share a room with. Help reduce the cost of the weekend.

Next month we'll have a sign up posted and more plans on what we will be doing.

Dave (Jibit) wanted to know if anyone was interested in doing some quick mods or repairs. This would depend on the weather. Those of you who do your own work know that weather is something you just deal with at times. LOL...
