Two dents

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Hi all, Last night I parked in a strip mall and when I came back to the car I had two nice size dents on the passenger side where some a**hole put the boot to my door. Just in front of the door handle and just above it, at least didn't break the handle so will have to call the insurance company and see if my comp. will take care of it. Not good that my 93 Opal White Mark is hurt.

I did on okay job on my pass door dents by removing the door panel and rubbing them out.

Dent masters (paintless dent removal) did a great job on two fender dents on my LSC.

The insurance guy said that the dents are too big for the paintless dent removal so looks like body work. I think that I'll take it to one of those dent masters type of place just to see. The insurance guy said that the only dents that work for Dent Masters are the little dimple ones or the ones made by hail stones, that the ones on my door were made from like a size 11 shoe or whatever he or she was wearing. If it was a female she had to be an amazon.

you can use paintless dent removal on larger dents, I have used it in the past with good results. If it is going to save you money, I would investigate.

paintless dent is the way as long as the creases arent too bad a good friend of mine is a "paintless dent guy" he ownes his own company and he is the best in my area. he has pulled my ass out of trouble a couple times, he was able to pull a large size dent out of the back hatch on a explorer it was the size of a basketball (i backed into a pallete jack thing). it just depends on where it is in the panel, out in the open is pretty easy, near any body lines and/or any openings in the panel it gets tougher. just rember you get what you pay for. my buddy is expensive but worth every penny of it

Called "Dent Surgeon" in my area and he fixed all but one dent by the drivers' side wheel well but he even did a pretty good job on it but he wasn't pleased so the whole job cost me $100.00. So all total there were like eight dents, like five were quarter size but by the pass. door handle maybe the size of a tennis ball and above the handle a silver dollar sized one. So for working on five pan
els I think the price was fantastic and I didn't have to leave my house! My Mark is happy again.
