AH Doc Vr4 just doesn't know what a joy Snow is.

Posted by: cavemansmarkviii

I'd bet I get more rain here than everyone else. 82 inch average per year. Can you say "rainforest".

Posted by: Doc

Joy and snow in the same sentence is an oxymoron!

Posted by: pepperman

Doc, with how dry it is here i would not mind it snowing 2 feet at all. Isn't it kind of early for it to snow?

Posted by: MarkVIII93

do you live in alaska or something?

Posted by: Doc

Last year we had snow at the beginning of bow hunting season Sept 1st and it was only a dusting then. It was gone in a couple of days and did not return in earnest untill mid November. So yes sir it is early :-{ But we have alot of hunters staying at the ranch$$$ And maybe early snowmachine season as well$$$ No not Alaska, Wyoming. www.rangercreekranch.net check us out!

Posted by: MediumD

Note to self. Stay in New Mexico.

Posted by: 04SSHD

wow, thats a burn. It is still summer out here in So Cal.

Those winters in WY are nasty. I used to drive semis cross country and I have some really nasty pictures from I-80 up there last winter.

Posted by: JC1994

Brrrrrrrrrr winters coming. got up this morning and it was 49 degrees.

Posted by: pepperman

Winter time makes a body feel good.

Posted by: YouthKwest

I am with you Pepperman....I love snow, unfortunately it is once in a blue moon that we get a good snow. But aside from that, yesterday we got just under 3" of rain....that worked out well for us.

Posted by: marked8

It's 85 over here on the east coast today.

thats why you like it. lol!!!!

10-4

Posted by: mespock

Cold weather never bothered me... I love the snow... I love the warm weather.

I'd rather spend time in -20 degrees than 100 degrees.

But I like the feel of both.

Now I'm not quite ready for the snow yet.. but when November rolls around and we get into December I will welcome the snow and the winter season.

Now around February I'll be ready for the snow to go and welcome the warmer weather.
