Nitrous and timing advanced

I want to spray a small shot on my 98 LSC (50 shot), right now I have the SCT chip advancing the timing 4 degrees, will I be OK with spraying a 50 shot with the timing advanced?

I've been told you can go up to a 75 HP shot without any retarding in timing?

Just run a smaller gap in your plugs. If you go bigger then I'd back the timing off a little. But with a 50 shot you should be fine.

First sound of pinging....the back out of it and fix the problem. Or if you're scared then run some race gas in it when you take it out to race. But if you plan to do that then you should step it up to at least a 75 shot.
