GT40 intake clearance question!

I have a GT40 intake I'm gonna put on my 88 Mark7. Will the stock hood close with this intake on if the heads are stock? Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I can use the stock EGR and throttle body too right?

It'll fit fine. I have an Explorer upper/lower (same as the GT-40/Cobra) on mine with a 3/8" spacer and there's no clearance issues. I don't believe there's room to run the EGR spacer, but you should be able to use your stock TB.
