If you can find the car it is buried under the semi..

She was a very bubbly person...

Last night the person who was in front of my cousin stopped by my Uncle's place to apologize. She feels that she's responsible.

There was traffic... not Chicago style traffic but I-43 North to Green Bay was busy.

The lady notice that my cousin was looking to get around her. What happened was the lady had recently been in a pretty bad car accident and was nervous. So she tried to get out of the way of my cousin.

She said she hit her brakes on accident which caused my cousin to react. My cousin swerved and lost control went into the median and slid into the on coming semi.

The lady to them everything happened very fast..

Everyone at the scene say my cousin had to have die instantly.

She was a very fun loving person... It was nice getting to know her now as an adult. Pepps she was going to her job at Hooter's (She was proud of her job and was trying to get my youngest daughter to apply).

She was a great kid......

Every sibling of my Grandparents now have had a tragedy in the family.

One had a child die from Leukemia, one had a child commit suicide, and two had children die in car accidents, my father the eldest of the siblings died at age 46 from a heart attack.

Last night was hard thinking about what as all happened in the family. Then thinking about how close in age my children are to my cousin. I can't begin to understand the pain my uncle is going through.

We have a very good strong Irish Catholic family that has held together through these tragedies... Right now I'm frustrated because I want so much to be there with them.... but because I can't I'm trying to keep myself busy as much as possible. Yesterday I couldn't stop looking at the picture...

And Like I asked in the title please everyone I know how much we all love our cars and like to get on them... but please please for your family's sake stay allert.... and be safe.

I want to get another Mark VIII for my youngest daughter.... not saying that a Mark VIII vs Semi would change the results but... a Mark VIII vs many others will be more protective....

By the way she wants one Black on Black... Maybe you can get her to trade her Mustang for it.

I am so sorry to hear about this Rich, would love to have met her. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Stay strong my friend. Let me know when to start searching for a Mark VIII for your youngest daughter and i will help you find one.

This is a terrible tragedy for all involved, I know of something similar which recently happened to a friend of my wife where a car she was driving went out of control and her two children in the car were both killed.

BE CAREFUL, remember speed kills, not because hitting something at 55 mph is safer than hitting something at 80 mph, but because you have so much less reaction time at higher speeds.

My prayers will remember your cousin and her families loss and always go out to anyone in an ambulance racing to the hospital, I've been there, please stay out of their way. I can only hope the driver of the semi is OK.

Thanks Mike.. I'm doing pretty good.. had a hard time yesterday spent a lot of time looking at the pic and thinking about my own kids... and then thinking about how my Uncle feels...

I'm pretty close to him as he's only 4 years older than I am...

But thanks again... and thanks to everyone...

Even though I like to run fast at times... I just want everyone to keep the thought about what can happen... not only when running fast but just in traffic and to be prepared for what the other person might do...

The young woman killed Tuesday in a fiery car crash on
Interstate 43 was described Wednesday as a bubbly, outgoing person who made people smile.

Crystal L. Schneider, 20, graduated in 2004 from Lincoln High School, where
she was a cheerleader.

Principal Keith Shaw said Schneider was "a ball of energy."
"She was a kid who people wanted to be around," he said. "She made people
smile. She was a captivating young lady."

On Tuesday, Schneider's northbound car crossed the I-43 median and collided
head-on with a southbound semitrailer, according to Brown County Sheriff's
Department officials.

The crash occurred at about 3:40 p.m. Tuesday, just north of North Avenue in New Denmark. Schneider's car and the semitrailer burst into flames.
Schneider died at the scene. The truck driver, 68-year-old Ronald Monegain
of Olympia Fields, Ill., was treated at the scene for minor injuries,
sheriff's department officials said.

The accident is still under investigation, Brown County Sheriff's Lt. Chris
Knurr said.

On Wednesday, news of Schneider's death saddened those who knew her.
"It's a complete shock," said Linda Gordon, Schneider's high school
cheerleading coach. "I can't believe this."
In class, Gordon said Schneider was quiet and a good student.
"I was very surprised to see her in class as reserved and quiet," Gordon
said. "As a cheerleader, she was very outgoing. I saw two different sides of
her.
"She was very strong and determined. If there was something in cheering that
we were trying to accomplish, she was determined to get it done and keep
trying until we got to that point."

As a sophomore and junior at Lincoln, Schneider was involved in marching
band, symphonic band and cheerleading.
As a senior, Schneider was a teacher's assistant at Jefferson Elementary
School, where she assisted music teacher Connie Dorner, who declined comment on Wednesday.

Knurr said it would likely be "a couple of days" before investigators
determine the cause of the crash. Schneider suffered burns when her car
caught fire after colliding with the semitrailer, Knurr said.
Brown County Medical Examiner Al Klimek, said Schneider had no pre-existing
medical conditions.

Damn if that is not true. I almost T-Boned a guy who pulled out right in front of me Wednesday morning, I missed him by inches with me skidding toward him after he pulled out of a 7-11 without looking.
