EGR valve

Has anyone removed the egr valve? Is that possible, and if so what are the + and - of it? How big of a job is something like this?

not that hard job wise, but can get a bit expensive.


you will need to plug the port in the drivers side cat, and the connection at the intake manifold. This will also activate the CEL, which will require a chip to deactivate.


Less carbon buildup is a good part of doing this......which means less seafomin which is ALWAYS good in my book.
