02 engine and tranny with 75k

Go check on ebay, i have seen brand new never used engines there for fairly cheap. Also rebuilt/new trannys too. With 75k its only worth what somebody feels willing to pay.

is someone selling an engine straight out of the vehicle, if yes, they why? only reason i can think of, is if it is wrecked. i could see 1500 for the tranny and 2500 for the engine. this to me would be the high end. personally i wouldnt go over 3 for both.

I think 3k is still high for 75k on both. Is this the start of a motor swap? Otherwise why get rid of it if its "running like a top". Right now there is a fully dressed brand new 3.0 V6 for sale $1250. A new '03+ V8, 15k miles for $2075. He never mentioned V6/V8.

right i paid 650 for a tranny w/18K on it. 2K tops, probably 1500. strangely the v6 seems worth more than the v8
