Mercury Montego

I'm looking to buy a new car, I dont want to speand 48 grand to buy a new lincoln, and one of the sales reps recomended I look at the Montego.

Anyone own one? are they any good?

Can't say much about owning one, However, if I had a choice between the Ford(Taurus II) Five-Hundred or the Montego,I'd favor the Mercury far,far over the Ford. I looked at them both when I was having the LTC serviced this morning. Even both are essentially the same, the Montego seemed to be put togheter much better than the 500 and also was waaaay nicer-looking, and the price difference really isn't that much either. If I were looking, I'd consider the Montego myself.
