I sold my '02 LS last week so i no longer am in need of this part. It is a brand new taillamp for a LSE. Any of you that have some mods already done this can make it look alittle more official. That is true, it is cheaper to buy just the emblem. But then you have to remove your old one, clean everything, blah blah blah. He offered $40, i only wanted $25 + $5 for shipping and thats for a whole new piece which includes the bulb and connector. I think its a fair value.

Its a good deal IMO, don't have to screw around with the cleaning and such. FLM dealer was $55, but I can usually get cheaper throu a friend, but why use the favor when you don't have too.
For what ever reason my LSE has a LS V8 tail light. I noticed it right away before I bought the car, looked everything over extremely close to make sure that it wasn't wrecked before I bought it. No evidence of anything being apart or repainted, actually it was by far the cleanest I looked at, so I bought it. The VIN checks out to be a "sport plus" so it wasn't done after the fact. I just figured someone swiped the letters or something so they just put in whatever.
