Max cargo capacity with rear seat down?

Does anyone know what the maximum length object (that can be passed through with the rear seats folded down) is? I don't have a tape measure, and I'm interested in getting a 70" bookcase, and I'm hoping that it will fit in the back?

or maybe I'll need to rent a van...

No idea,, but i carried a 50 gallon fish tank in the back seat,,and the stand in the trunk hangin out,, for a 20mile trip.

did fine,, wouldnt do it again,,lol

Good news, I fit the 72" box into my car without any problems. I'd say 73-74" is the max, and depending on the dimensions of the object, you might be able to get in 80" by leaving it on the driver's arm rest.

Must wipe off some box glue that got on my car.

Edit: the box was actually 75" long, and it was perfectly fine.
