(2000 LS V8) OK, I've searched and couldn't really find much.
1: Has anybody on here replaced their windshield washer pump? If so, how did you do it?

2: My LS has the folding cup holder, which no longer closes. I want to fix or replace the mechanism. How do you remove the console? It's really getting on my nerves...

3: Does anybody make a high output alternator for our cars? I'm running a 2000 watt Hifonics monoblock amp pushing a Pioneer Premier competition 12" and my headlights seriously dim if I'm listening to my music loud. (I'm running 4-ga power wire less than 3ft from the battery to the amp.)

4: Those of you who have painted the chrome bumper strips on your cars, how did you do it? Can I get non-chrome from the dealer or strip the chrome from the plastic...

Sorry for the lengthy message, but I'm trying to get it all before I forget it.
Thanks in advance.

Washer pump - It's integral to the resevoir. If your pump is gone, you'll need to replace the resevoir since they don't sell the pump as a stand alone unit.

Chrome bumper - You can simply sand it and paint it, live with it as is, or you can replace the whole bumper assembly with the sport bumpers which have no chrome.

Ohio Generator - part number 7795-185
185 running amps / 235 - 250 max amps output

$618 retail

Um... OK. I already bought the pump from the dealer for about $25. I just want to know how to remove the reservoir. The dealer wants $80 bucks.
Anyway, thanks.

Bump. Come on... I know somebody has taken their console apart...
