No that is not filler on top of paint. I first filled the entire area with long strand glass then filled the underside with the same. Next I tore down the glass to shape, then filled with filler. I tore down the paint prior to all this and put in primer. Today I should have 1 side in primer complete the other almost complete. Ill post pics tonight. Yes I agree I liike the gen2 rear as well. But i am looking to do is solve the ill lighting issue up front and what better way to do it than doing a one off custom swappins! Now I am very interested in preserving the bold and beautiful body lines that make a mark, but want to research my options. I am going to test fit a gen2 fender later today, Ill post results. Ya cause builders who put enough time and effort into shaving an engine compartment, usually would leave the rest of the car stock and probably wouldnt install some "unibody stiffening media" to prevent some of this "pita growth".
