Brought my 94 Mark VIII home last night... After 2 months of Anticipation, and with much gratitude from Mike and JD for all the work on they did on it, I finally got it home.. It was a 5 hour drive from Mike's (94m5) place.... Who need viagra when your driving in a Mark VIII.... And Damn does this one have some balls.

Oh and Yes Scott9050... It is something.....

Only one problem I've found it's the Damn 120 mph cut off... but she sure get's up to 120 fast!!!!

My Camera is not working well so Pick will have to wait.

First project is to put the Air Ride Compressor that I picked up from Mike into my 95 which decided to go limp on me last Tuesday, and seeing that it's now Heather's Mark VIII we have to take care if it first to keep her happy.

After that it's swapping rear bumper covers and exhaust systems between the 94 and the 95.

He's a pic from Mike just prior to finding out where the cut off was. Mike sure did a great job on the car.

Rich why don't you get Heather to join LVC since she has a Mark VIII now.

if you turn off your OD, with the button, the cut off is 130-135 mph, not 120.

You should consult your Doctor if your erection lasts more than four hours.

Posted by: MarkVIII93

That is a great looking car.

Posted by: mespock

I have to fix the OD wire.. can't cut off the OD right now.

Fixed the 95's Air Ride today!! Yeah!! Now Heather's boy is riding high LOL...

Then fixed the Right shock mount in the 94. Working on making her just like I want her before I post many more picks...

But boy from the fly she slams you back... Left a nice couple of black marks last night as I crossed Main Street to head home... LOL... Kind of brings out the kid in you... I can go for day!!! LOL...

Need to do some Brake work, clean detail the engine, swap exhaust (Heather doesn't want the rumble), and a few other little projects and she'll be ready...

to avoid serious damage to your girlfriend or wife, you should contact your doctor for an erection lasting 4 hours or more.

what mods to make it so fast?

i think this is the "freak of nature" mark viii that runs like a raped ape stock.

Posted by: mespock

There are no mods... she's done 14.6 bone stock.. and prior to Scott turning it back over he put on a new water pump and replace a few other worn parts but no mods.

According to Scott after the water pump he notices even more pull from it that low 14's should not be a problem..

I haven't had it long enough and prior to selling to Scott in 05 I never took it out for a hard ride. (I wouldn't drive a car I didn't know hard, Plus seeing that 20 miles from purchasing the car the Alt went.. There was now way I was going to see what she could do on the trip home). Then came the Deer and after that I sold it. Only drove it back from MI after purchase and to Madison, WI crippled but drivable..

Glad to she you have the fleet back together!

My stock base 95 was a screamer 14.7 w/o mods. The older if got the faster it went - till the oil pan blew..RIP There must have been a week or so wherer the engine builders were on top of their game at Ford.

There was a thread on it. The 14.6 pass was done in 30 degree weather I'm pretty sure.

No. Add 20 or so degrees to that and apparently a bad water pump:

ah cool.

another 1. mine did it in 82 degree temps.

Posted by: Frat-man-du

It was at night so prob in the upper 60's for mine.

Posted by: mespock

Right now it's sitting in 100+ temps drying out..

I took the seats out front and back and shampooed the carpet. Letting Mother Nature help out with the cleaning....

In about another hour I'm putting the seats back in...

Thursday I'm planning on swapping the exhaust and rear bumpers..

According to 94m5 the colors should match pretty good. With the two parked next to each other the color looks like they should match well.

There was suppose to be a LMS MAF in the trunk but it's nowhere to be found right now. Mike's going through all of his parts to see if it got misplaced somewhere at the Body Shop where he did the work.

Is it HOT there now Rich.

This one will do it in those temps as well, you have to take a grinding waterpump into account. I know for a fact this one will run low 14.40's in good air It would have also run better that day with more than 2 runs and some time to play with things

Thats weird w/ the top speed I went 140 in mine, and learned a valuable lesson on tires
: before going over 100 mph especialy around 140 mph, know that although the engine and tranny can take it your tires may not be able to, I popped a tire on a curve slowed down after having the car overcorrect 3 times than went backwards into a canal. Thank you God for getting me out of a very possibly deadly situation!

yup.

i had a RF blowout at 130ish in my VR4. that was fun.

1 week later after putting new tires on i was doing 165. so much for being scared of speed. LOL

Posted by: mespock

The thought of a blowing a tire at those speeds always creeps in my head as I approach the limiter..

One was ok but pointed down... Swapped the good one with a poor one on my 95. Now my 95 have 2 good head lights. I thought that would be better for Heather...

But with the Headlights on bright they'll have to do until I get a better set.

Hey did you find my valves? LOL I forgot them in the 95.
