Cascade Dish Washing Cleaner

Has anyone ever heard of using Cascade in your radiator? A former truck driver told me that he has used it for years. He says he has never had to flush his radiator because of this. He just drains them and then puts some Cascade back in them. He didn't tell me how much he put in though. I don't think it would be alot though. Does this sound crazy?
