Does anyone know how to turn off the check engine light? I know it came on because the gas cap wasn't secure. Please HELP!

It should clear itself. Sometimes it will take 5 or more restarts but if should eventually turn off.

d/c the battery and turn on your headlight to drain the system. it should then reset itself
