Is there a certain trac lok that I need? I'm getting ready to buy and a guy on e-bay has a 8.8 28 spline, but says its not for a car with IRS. All the stuff I've read hasn't mentioned it's a problem.

8.8 28 spline fits fine inside our center pigs.

It will work...but...the spider gears lack the notch for the C-clips on the end of the half-shafts. So, it will be alot of work to pull the half-shafts out later.

Thanks everyone, It caught me a bit off guard. After reading that I hesitated to buy one. Thanks again guys. JC, was there a big advantage going with the new ford trac lok than going with an Auburn or Detroit locker? Thanks again guys.

Greg
