LSE Kit and a Receiver hitch

I was wondering if I can modify the rear valience peice to fit or not. What I ideally want to do is to cut out a small section where the drawtite is and make it so that I can install it where the hitch fits when the hitch is not in use cover it up. Do you think this might be doable?

I don't think it would be a problem cutting on the rear lower valance. It is just molded plastic. However, how it looks may be another issue all together.
