I just picked up my very first '97 Mark VIII LSC, I love it to death but i wanted to know if lowering it and driving it would harm it? Mabey a stupid question but I just don't know

I think it depends on how much you lower it.

But lowering it does change the geometry of the suspension that can lead to accelerated wear.

Pick the height you want to cruise and get it aligned. It will help some.

I dropped mine 1.5 inches. it still rides great and handles better too.
