Stupid question about tilt/telecopic column (Gen2)

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: Dominus

Is the tilt/telescoping switch a part of the multifunction switch, or is it a seperate switch altogether?

seperate.

Posted by: Dominus

Damnit. I suspect mine is having problems. Does anybody know the part number for it?

Mike, you're getting old LOL

They are a one piece together unfortunately meaning they are not available separate. When mine was acting up, I took it apart and cleaned the contacts ... works fine until this day.

Yeah, I just looked at mine and saw that it was indeed one piece for 97-98.

A friend of mine has a brand new one directly from Ford and wanted to know if I needed it, so I told him yes because it's what I need.

Dammit..... I could have sworn they were seprate. Sorry man.
