Put 02 mustang gt trans in car... problems

Ok we put a newer trans in my friends car and did the J-Mod. Well it was a saturday night and my friend didnt want to wait till monday to buy the new seperator gaskets so we tried reusing the old ones (mentioning this since it could cause the problem) We also reused all the old selenoids and wiring from the 93 transmission.

Ok so now the car runs and drives and when you manually shift it threw first and 2nd it runs well and drives well. The problem occurs when you put the car into drive. The car starts acting comfused and goes to either 2nd or neutral. Any suggestions on whats wrong and what to do to fix it.

my guess would be the mlps is misadjustaed or not working properly,and is getting the wrong signal when in the Drive position.

i wonder how the 1-2 shift is with jmod,i also swapped a 2002 stang trans into my mark and i did not do a jmod and the 1-2 shift is wicked fast at anything over 40% throttle.
