What do you mean haven't heard of? I've been drinking Leine's way before they started those goofy thing... Like Berry or Honey Weiss

LOL.... You can drink all the Leine's you want next weekend.....

Oh and Pepps... Those other things you listed are not beers....LOL....

If it's made by Miller or Bush it's not beer.... just some hoppy tasting water...

Posted by: pepperman

I know Rich, those were the only one that came to mind.

I'm not much of a beer guy, but when I do drink it, it's usually Bud.

Posted by: crab daddy

I am more of a Guinness/Bass Guy

I should have added Guinness to the poll instead of MGD.

Posted by: Dawkins

Posted by: m_maker

Guinness !!! Brilliant !!!

Posted by: JC1994

I like to mix it up, domestic beer and imported beer, I like Grolsch from holland. Canadian beer rocks! Sam Adams boston lager, and ice cold Bud Light. just to mention a few...

I drink all Miller beers. The fridge is always stocked with High Life lite. Genuine Draft Lite or Genuine Draft are fine also, but I do drink all Miller beers and any other will do. Moosehead is a very good beer and I drink it occasionally, The MOOSE does get loose in my house from time to time and I typically regret it.

A while ago, me and my friends went to a rich sub division... Where one of my friends actually lives, and we went what we like to call "garage hunting". Its where you go up to an open garage and look for their fridge, then steal all of their beer. So we find an open garage with a fridge and get maybe 10-15 beers in my friends grand prix. I put them in the trunk through the flip down arm rest..... So, we go driving around for a few, me and 3 of my buddys in the kid's GP, and my buddy next to me in the back seat decides to crack one open on the way to this party. So we're driving along, doing 15 over the speed limit, when all of a sudden the driver starts slowing down until he is completely stopped, I didnt know what was happening so I asked him. Thats when he looked at me through his rear view and said " we're getting pulled over dude!". Me and my buddy in the back seat throw the open beer through the armrest hole, and it spills all over inside the trunk. You could cleary smell the alcohol. The cop ended up letting my buddy off with a 5 over ticket. It was super intense though. scared the crap out of everybody in the car. I dont know why im posting this long a$$ story, but ive got nothing else to do and it involves beer....soo

Bud or Coors. Hard to beat a .95 24 oz. Coors.

Sam Adams

Posted by: mespock

I spend a semester of my undergrad in Germany. It was very hard to drink an American beer after living in Germany... Thank god for the Micro Breweries that opened up during the 90's. They really did a great job at trying to make something more than the piss water you get from the big American Beer companies....

Leinie is pretty good stuff, but I would not leave Wisconsin with out trying something from New Glarus Brewing. They don't distribute outside of the state, so the only chance to get it is there. Any are worth trying, but the Belgian Red Cherry Ale is outstanding.

Posted by: Blip01

Been on a Sam Adams Black kick recently.

Posted by: Conti94

All those beers are good but I have to say Sam Adams. My favorite brew is the Sam Adams Winter brew. My leats favorite is definately Budweiser. It's just to bitter. All the other beer on the list, I like very much. I could drink Killians, Michelob, or Miller any day.

There or the old Huber Brewing Co. (link) One of the best Amercian Beer ever Brewed was AUGSBURGER BEER but Huber sold out about 10 years ago and lost AUGSBURGER BEER ... Then some employees purchase Huber and hired back the old AUGSBURGER Brewmaster... His formula for the original AUGSBURGER BEER is used in Berghoff Beer.

Looks like we might have to do some good beer country sampling next weekend.

I, too, spent many years in Germany (12 to be exact), and several other countries (Korea, Philippines, Japan, Australia, England, Wales, Ireland, Denmark, Netherlands, Spain, France, and a few months in Portugal). I visited probably another ten, or twenty. Beer is what you find, where ever you are, after a hard day of work, play, adventure, or whatever you do that pumps you up. When in Rome...
