Does anyone know if the hood of say an 05' Mark LT or F-150 will fit a Navigator of the same year???

Well, there's no such thing as an '05 Mark LT, but either way, I'm gonna guess "no."

If the hood "fits" it still probably will not work because the grille and hood have the slightly raised center on the Navigator. The hood on the Mark LT, Expy and F-150 is the same hood. But why would you want to down-grade?

Well its just a thought right now, but this is my thinking:
I really like the Mark LT grill. I know the Mark LT grill is interchangable with the F-150 grill therefore the hoods are the same. I looked at the hood and grill size of my Navi and that of the LT/ F-150. The only difference I noticed was the raised center of the Navi hood. I am wondering if there are any other difference(s) that would keep the hood from fitting on my Navi. Other than loosing the raised center in the hood which I think is a nice detail, I think that Mark LT grill on my Navi would look HOT!!! I think Lincoln should have used a similar one for the 07' Navi rather than that cheese grater style.
But wadda you think folks??? Do you think that LT grill would look awesome on a
Navigator???

I think it would cost a lot more money than you think. Price the grille and hood (providing it theoretically is all just bolt on with no mods) and see how much it would cost. By the way, are you not interested in that monotone grille anymore? I haven't heard back from ya. If not that is cool-I just need to know what direction to take with it. I don't want to hold on to it if you don't want it. Let me know.

No, I'm still intereted. like you said something like that will cost and I'm not willing to go through the hassel. Just a thought right now but I'll inquire more in the far future cause I'll be keeping this Navi for a while since I'm not fond of the 07'. Check ur mail Luebbe!!!
