Well, I thought I had a bad MAS sensor, turns out it didn't( after spending the $$ to get a new one), the guy at autozone checked my code again and I think it was 0173 too lean, bank 2 or something like that, which he said was O2 sensor, does this sound right? The car will idle kinda rough and eventually go dead, I need help. I got these two sensor to replace both right sides and he said to bring them back if they didn't work. Please help!!

too lean means bad O2 or you have an air leak somewhere if its lean.

If you have a V6, chances are most like that you have to replace the elbow hose on the pcv valve. I don't remember the posts, but search the forum using the error code and you should find several posts on it. It's probably not your O2 sensor.

no such thing as P0173

was it P0174?

Test gont guess.

more info on your car would help.

It may have been 0174, here's the deal.....last night I replaced both the O2 sensors on the passenger side, as of now the car runs good, smooth idle but after about 4 to 5 minutes of idle, it just stalls.....no code or anything, just stalls, could it be possible fuel filter???

Where is the PCV valve to check the elbow that Batmobile mention so I can check it also, thanks guys!!

Can you better describe what happens with the stall? Does it stutter then stall or just shutdown without any indication of a problem.

You will have to remove the upper and lower intake to get to the elbow. Mine never stalled when i had this problem but it did rough idle.

My LS did eventually develop a stall but the solution to this problem ended up being a new REM and Fuel pump. REM is rear electronic module and if the pcv fix doesnt work you might want to start with the REM next.

I sent some photo and procedures to follow for this repair. My number is in the email as well so do not hesitate to call me if you have a question while you are doing the work.

While looking at my photos I realised that you won't have tp remove the VC gaskets so I misslead you a little bit on the phone earlier. All you need is a good back, some tools, and a sandwhich to get you through this.
