Bosch oxygen sensors any good?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I need an oxygen sensor...failed inspection for emissions, have a 176 code.
Generally, I like to go OEM for things like this, but people are telling Bosch is good too.

They are decent but not as quality as Motorcraft.

What are you basing your claim on? Bosch makes thousands of OEM O2 sensors for many different makes/models of cars.

Paul.

I thought Bosch was the maker for Motorcraft....

ive got 2 new motorcraft sensors right here.

1 is bosch and 1 is NTK.

i think it depends on the car.

I just helped put a pair of Bosch O2 sensors, among other repairs, in an SHO about 2 hours ago. It cleared the code and the idle, which had been high, returned to normal... so I can say it works at least.

oh, i didn't know Bosch was an OEM supplier.

I've had Bosch o2's in my red Mark for 2 years now. No CE codes yet and 28-30 mpg on the expressway just like the originals, when they were still good.

bosch is the worlds largest supplier of oxygen sensors and other fuel/emmision components, don't sweat it...lol
