The LS is back!!!

I picked up my freshly painted LS on Friday and decided to go to a car show in CT. on Sunday.

I took first place in Domestic other and got a nice trophy too.

It rained quite a bit but it was worth it.

No pics cause I forgot the camera, but the trophy is nice and it feels good to have the LS back.

The car is in the stereo shop right now getting motion sensors installed and I am looking into have a camera system put in that records in seven day spans.

Next week is the Worcester Nationals and my car will be featured there Fri-Sunday. If any local guys wanna come out let me know.

congrats on gettin the car back.. new it would be back soon.. that camera u mentioned.. how does it work? I have a camera on my car on at all times.. not jus when i reverse.. but i have the option to put it on when wanted.. i want to know how ur going to record.. i havent checked but i dont think i have a video out on the kenwood dvd and i doubt it has a harddrive to record too.. let me know.. i've always wanted to add another camera inside and record what happens IN the lincoln, if u know what i mean...

The Avic-Z1 has a 30 gig hard drive. I would record to that. I want to sent it up so the camera turns on by the motion detectors. I will let you know when I find out more.

i`m happy u got it all taken care of man ... i dont know what i would do without my car, but it must have been worse since mine isn`t even close to what u`rs is .. and congrats on the win.

i figured having a harddrive would be the way to do that.. if u get it connected to the motion sensors it will ALWAYS go off.. that kinda sux... u should put one inside and have it record if the alarm goes off.. but since it records to the AVIC it defeats the purpose of recording because they will prolly steal it anyways.. what kinda camera? i got the pioneer and put it in the keyhole on the back.. its great except its not in the middle of the trunk.. aside from that.. its the best camera I have seen out there so far

Thats not the point of installing the cameras. I want to catch the person that caused $3000 worth of damage to the car. They wanted nothing to do with the items in the car, they just felt like f**cking it up. My alarm pages me with just about everything except someone being close enough to key it. Now it will do that as well.

The car is too noticable to steal or sit there and break into. It attracts alot of attention. Keying the whole car takes 10 seconds max and the next time my motion sensors go off I will be out there with a bat.

im from ri, i'm working on transforming into a show car slowly but surely, maybe once i get it doen we can beat down blocks in NE at the car shows. I'm definatly gonna come to one of hte local shows to see the ride, but unfortunatly im going away this weekend

the motion sensors on the car will be attached to ur alarm? so ur alarm will go off when ANYTHING moves? you know u can just put sensors in the door panels or something that will go off when the car is touched.. it's a dope idea.. but i have a feeling ur gettin more than u bargained for..

if u do catch the guy let me know.. i can think of a few ideas that would make catching him twice as good..

when i had that problem it happened at my house so i installed camera's outside.. as far as going to public places, i try and park in diff. places (never the same place) and I try to park around ppl, yesterday some lil kid touched my car and i almost went at it with his dad.. best of luck to u and ur car.. and i hope it doesnt happen again..

we should do a 1 dollar collection for ppl who get their cars messed up.. if we all chip in the cost should be loads less..

I will be there Friday after 2pm, all day Saturday and Sunday. Hope to see you there.

Anyone else gonna be there. Iis is supposed to be one of the biggest shows in the Northeast. I have never been so it should be a good time.

It is by far the best show/cruize event of the summer. Cars/trucks from all over the east coast, bikini contests, stunt bike show, flame throwers, burnouts, open headers, BEER! It is car guy heaven. Just get there early or bring a couple of ladders and some planks so you can see the burnouts. They go right thru the tunnel almost accross the street from the 5-0 station!
On a side note . . . the cops are very tolerant of horseplay w/ horsepower just don't go too crazy!!! Hope to see you all there!!!
