2004 Navi Ultimate question

I have a dash light for 4 wheel High & LOW, but NO light for AWD; is that the way it should be? How do I know that I'm really in the AWD mode?

I had a 2003 and I think the lights are to remind you that you are in those positions. You are not supposed to keep it in 4 high or 4 low all the time. However, 2wd ond Awd are supposed to be used always.
