That one has lower mileage....

I'll flip through the car traders, online, ebay, and I'll see other Mark VIIIs for sale. With the prices as low as they are, I'll often see one for a reasonable price and say "Hey, that one has considerably fewers miles on it than mine. Maybe I should buy it."

Then I realize, if I buy another Mark VIII with 100k miles on it (vs. my 185k) I won't be in better shape, I'll be worse off!

I'll soon have to replace the inner tie rods, the outer tie rods, the ball joints, the control arms, the radiator, the cooling hoses, the thermostat, the transmission, the a/c compressor, service the rear diff, the plugs and wires, the fuel filter, exhaust system, the strut rod bushings, the power seat motor, and the list goes onand on... Not to mention the entire air ride system, air struts, air springs, air compressor, air relay, o-rings, ect.

I don't want to do all that over again!!

So I then realize, I'm in better shape now, with 185k than I was back when I only had 130k.

Of course, the other car has less front seat wear....

Working on it.

Can't find any black drivers seats around here that aren't worn out too. Tan, creme, grey...those I can find. Pristine black, a little more difficult.
