So here I am with the front end of my Mark laying in the dumpster. (In case you were wondering you can remove the back end of a volvo at the cost of hood, headlight, and fender.) I was very sad. But now I am working on rebuilding it. First it is a 96, I am in need of a new hood and I am not sure which gen I need because 96 seems like the transistion year. Second I am thinking of boring out the pistons but I wanted the opinion of the experts here before I go tearing into it.

You need gen 1 body parts.

If you're going to do engine work you need a well thought out plan, set-goals, and a budget before you start. I'm sure if you list your goals and budget someone more familiar than I am with the modular Fords can give you some advice.

Welcome to the site and I'm sure you will get a lot of opinions in just a few minutes LOL...

Plan wisely and make sure you evaluate all the opinions....
