Check Park Assist?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Hi;
I am thinking of purchasing a '03 Gator today and I have only found two things so far. The Check Park Assist light comes on when I put it in reverse. I also don't have a owners manual so I can't find the code to use the keypad. I want to know is the check assist fix expensive or something simple and I also want to know how I can get the code for the keypad. I have been reading the posts on the Navigator section to see where it is but have not been able to get a definitive answer on where it is in a '03. Any help would be appreciated before I buy this beauty of a truck. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as to what I can look forward to. Thanks for allowing me to post.

I assume the car is out of warranty? If it were me, I would insist on having that checked before I bought it. Who knows what kind of expense could be involved. I think that is a reasonable request.

one of the rear park assist sensors is probably bad. The dealer can check it and see wich one is bad and replace it. While its there they can get the key code. If its a dealer you are buying it from make sure it is fixed before you buy and they get the code.

If its not a dealer, have them get it fixed.
