I wanted to know if anyone can help me with a problem im haveing with my car starting, it seems that once in a while when I try to start my car it wont crank and the LED in the dash for the Anti theft starts to flash reall fast and after a while it will blink 1 and then 6 times and at the same time on my message board I get Check Traction Control. The car wont start for hours then after a few hours it will start like nothing is wrong. I was hopeing someone has had this problem and could help with any information possible. Thanks, your help is very much appreciated.

My 04 does exactly the same thing every once in a while. Have never been able to pinpoint the cause, but the fix for me is to put a charger on the Battery. Despite showing a charge, it seems that the electronics on some of our cars are very sensitive to a battery that is slightly down on charge.

its the battery, my friend had that same issue with a 2000 ls6 - he replaced the battery and that fixed the proble.

Thanks for the help, ill take a look into that, im jus wondering if the battery can be defective or jus have lost some of its charge even though I bought the battery in Sept of 2005? I thought it could be relay or maybe I had to reprogram my PCM, but ill try replacing the battery first. Once again thanks for your help.
