6 disc in dash problem

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Ok, so i got a new radio, a 6-disc in dash changer to replace my 6cd glove box head unit. i also got the PIE adapter to make the ipod work with it. well i set everything up, got the PIE adapter working, using dj mode and everything. i never tested the radio to see if cds worked, which was a big mistake. after putting everything back together i tried to transfer my cds from the magazine to the indash and the new 6 disc wont load or even eject. i am assuming there is nothing in there, but when i press eject it says initializing, and then nothing happens, or it says cd error. when i press load i get initializing, and nothing, or it says slots full. this is very wierd and annoying. maybe i just got unlucky and got a messed up radio. for now i disconnected the battery and will let it sit over night. any other ideas? sorry about the long post. ANY insight at all will be appreciated.

I am not an audio ace, but IIRC the 03+ has a different wiring harness. If your 6 CD is from an 03+ the hook ups may have to be modified. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will jump in soon.

no it works it plays the radio, and the i pod. i know it is the correct model, could i have messed it up by splicing into the power wire on the harness with the PIE adapter?
