Best mid strength abrasive

Hopefully this the right forum.

I've tried out 3m rubbing compund on my black navi and it hazes it like crazy. I've tried meguires number 9 and Zaino Fusion and they don't seem to have enough cut to get out the deeper scratches. Anyone have any ideas on a go between?
