98 Eldo Left Side Lights...

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

This is the worst car I have ever owned.

After diagnosing the a/c yesterday I buttoned it all back up so we could go out. When we got to the restaurant I noticed I had no left side tail, front marker and lic lights.

Is there a fuse for the left side makers?

The LT Park fuse in the rear fuse block was blown. I swear this car has more Gremlins! I replaced the fuse and it blew immediately. So I went down the list of the items on that circuit. It seems that the under hood light has a direct short. I just unplugged it for now and it stopped blowing fuses. Perhaps the mercury switch in the underhood light somehow became defective...but that sure seems strange to me. I've never heard of that item failing in that way.
