I purchased an '06 Navigator in April. From the second day, the wheels made a loud noise from time to time. I could never get to the dealer while the car made this noise. My husband put the car into 2WD instead of AWD and the noise hasn't come back. Now, the wheels makes a "clink" type sound when I put it in reverse and then back into drive or when I stop and then go again. My father-in-law thinks it's the bearings. I'm calling the dealer tomorrow to set up an appointment. I was curious to see if anyone else had this problem. While I have it in service, I'm going to have them look at the steering wheel/dash because it's making a noise too!
