That's only a rule on pay tables. Real rule is 8 goes to spot, and ball in hand. The kid has talent. It won't get him anywhere, but talented nonetheless.

It would be swet as hell if that kid could turn that into a profitable situation in the future. But reality is, that there are thousands of kids who are as good, or better, than him. Only a select few ever make real money in billiards. It just doesn't have any real fan base to warrant real money. I really hope he keeps up with it, and gets to be the best he can be. I just hope he has a back-up plan.
